The 2021 Skiathos Trail Run Half-Marathon event
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and for the purpose of avoiding spreading the virus, please do not follow Alexandros in his path, for reasons of public health protection, thus adhering to the measures, meant to prevent and reduce the spread of the disease, established by the government. will apply all safety rules and regulations of the National Public Health Organization, and abide by the “Road Races Staging Health Protocol” that shall be regularly reviewed in accordance with the indications by the relevant Health Committee of Ministry of Sports.
According to the current Health Protocol, for anyone who would like to register and participate in the 2021 Skiathos Trail Run event, a PCR test or an Antigen test (Rapid) is needed 24-48 hours before the race. In case participants travel by bus, ferry boat, airplane, it is recommended to have the test in advance. Proof of tests will be delivered to the Skiathos Trail Run team when receiving the race numbers. Non show of such a proof automatically cancels the athlete’s participation with no refund. All the members consisting the Skiathos Trail Run will have a self test on the event’s day. It’s only fully vaccinated runners until 15 days before (4/9) and runners with proof of recovery from COVID-19 (2-9 months) who can be exluded from the above process.
USE OF MASK
Mandatory use of mask in all areas. It’s only athletes who are excluded from the mask use during the run, start and finish areas. Special storage bins, for masks, will be available at the start/ finish points.
USE OF DISPOSABLE GLOVES
Mandatory use of gloves during the clothing transfer and the provision of medical assistance. Alternatively, frequent hand sanitization is highly recommended. Hand sanitizers will be offered in visible points.
After concluding the last refund requests from the 2020 event’s cancellation and assessing the deferred entries from last year’s edition, we would like to inform that runners with deferred entries will automatically receive their new registration confirmation with all relevant information, by priority, before the registration period opens, and we would like to thank them once more for their support and trust!
